We specialize in Bordoodles and Aussiedoodles, carefully selecting our breeding pairs based on health, temperament, intelligence, and structure. A Lifetime of Dog Training & Breeding Expertise

Lisa, the heart of Creekside Doodles, has been raising and training dogs for over 20+ years, starting in her teenage years. She is a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and has an extensive background in:

🐶 Dog training & behavior – Teaching group training classes for years
🔬 Biology & genetics – Ensuring thoughtful breeding pairings
🎓 Psychology & animal behavior – Specializing in classical & operant conditioning
🐾 Veterinary experience – Working as a veterinary technician for years

This wealth of knowledge allows us to evaluate each puppy’s personality and temperament to make the best possible matches for our families. Through years of research and continued education, we’ve perfected our breeding program, ensuring that every Creekside puppy is healthy, well-socialized, and ready to thrive in their forever home.

How We Raise Our Puppies

From birth to their forever homes, we provide the best possible start in life.

Our puppies are raised in our home, not in kennels, and are handled daily from day two. We incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Puppy Culture, and structured early training to shape their development in the critical first weeks.

Step 1: Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)

Day 3 to Day 16

ENS exposes puppies to gentle stressors that help build resilience, immune strength, and problem-solving skills. This foundation benefits them for life, especially in training, therapy work, and service dog roles.

Step 2: Early Potty Training (Misty Method)

Starting at 2 Weeks

Potty training begins early with the Misty Method, where puppies learn from 2 weeks old that there is a designated area to relieve themselves. This reduces accidents, keeps their living space clean, and makes house training easier for their new families.

Step 3: Socialization & Confidence Building

3 to 8 Weeks

Puppy Culture Program: Puppies are introduced to new environments, surfaces, and household sounds.
Basic Manners & Training: They learn “watch me,” polite greetings, and early leash skills.
Outdoor & Indoor Play: Our puppies explore supervised play areas, interact with adult dogs, and learn healthy dog socialization skills.

Step 4: Temperament Testing & Matching

7 Weeks

At 7 weeks old, each puppy undergoes the Volhard Temperament Test. This assessment helps us determine which puppies:

Are best suited for family life
Show potential for therapy or service work
Would thrive in sport or working environments
